Vinitaly has a new wine communicator. It is the Master of Wine Sarah Heller, named today "Wine communicator of the year by the International Wine and Spirit Competition.
Heller strongly impressed the jury of the award sponsored by Vinitaly for his international figure and ability to shorten the distances between asian and Western markets, ticking it off among ten other candidates.
Sara Heller MW is a wine expert, visual artist and the youngest Master of Wine in the Western Pacific area. He is Wine Editor of Asia Tatler, columnist of Club Oenologique and guest of the television series Wine Masters. Since 2018 he collaborates with Vinitaly International Academy.
His wine video courses have reached almost eight million students, while his "Visual tasting notes" that evoke tasting experiences of some of the most exciting wines in the world, are real works of art that have appeared in numerous magazines in Asia, America and Europe.
Among Sarah Heller's predecessors as "Wine Communicator of the Year" are: Elaine Chukan Brown, Madeline Puckette, Tom Cannavan, Joe Fattorini, Joe Wadsack, Tyson Stelzer, Jane Parkinson and Jancis Robinson MW.
The International Wine & Spirit Competition is an annual wine and spirits competition founded in 1969 by German/British winemaker Anton Massel.
Every year the competition receives entries from over 90 countries around the world. The prizes awarded by the competition are considered high awards in the beverage industry.

The trophy and the award will be presented to Heller in Verona, during the 54th edition of Vinitaly from 10 to 13 April 2022.
