The Greekwineday 2023 is the most complete event ever organized in Italy on Greek wine: in fact, it will see the presence of as many as 18 wineries, thus offering more than 70 wines from a land often unknown to Italian enthusiasts.

The idea was born several years ago with the first small tastings of Greek wines successfully held in Florence.
The first Greekwineday was born in 2021 with a different formula from this year's, in fact it saw some Greek wines presented, on the same day, in 19 Italian restaurants, 10 of which with at least one Michelin star.

Since then, the idea of Greekwineday has grown, arriving at this year's version thanks also to the precious contribution of FISAR Firenze.

We are therefore ready to welcome you to the 2nd Greekwineday, which will aim to promote Greek wine but also to try to establish an Italian (and why not international) day dedicated to a country where wine production has been history since 2000 years BC.

With the classic formula of tasting tables manned by producers, many enthusiasts and a selected number of journalists will be able to learn about and deepen their knowledge of Greek wine together with those who produce it.

The event took place under the patronage of the Honorary Consulate of Greece in Florence .

The 18 Greek wineries participating in the event, between them was Venetsanos Winery, Santorini

Huge congratulations to Haris Papandreou He is currently secretary of the Honorary Consulate of Greece in Florence and is responsible for the economic part in a technical office. Wine enthusiast and organizer of several Greek wine tastings in Florence.
