The name “Milia” derives from familia, representing family across our heritage languages (Greek, Italian, Portuguese), and also means “miles” in Greek — symbolizing the distance between Greece, Italy, Brazil & Portugal.
“Riza” stands for “roots,” symbolizing new beginnings and life.

Meet the creators of Milia Riza
Nancy Mazou — Enologist
Born in Athens, raised in Nemea. Influenced by her grandfather Thanasis Papaioannou.
Studied Enology & Beverage Technology in Athens, completed the Vinifera Euromaster in Montpellier, Bordeaux & Udine.
Stefano Stante — Enologist & Agronomist
Born in Lisbon with Italian heritage. Graduated in Agronomy in Portugal, then studied in Conegliano & Udine (Master in Enology, Viticulture & Wine Marketing).
Worked as an enologist in top wineries in Portugal before co-founding Milia Riza.

Elegant pale straw color, fine bubbles. Aromas of wild berries, citrus zest, white blossoms, toasted bread.

Tasting Notes:
Lively straw color. Notes of green apple, pear, melon, peach, apricot, toasted brioche.
Red fruit tones (strawberry, raspberry) from Pinot Noir. Crisp, dry, elegant finish.

AZZARDÀ ROSÉ

Tasting Notes:
Salmon-pink color, fine mousse. Aromas of cherries, wild strawberries, floral and brioche notes.
Smooth, creamy palate with red berries and pastry tones. Clean, long finish.
