Restaurants are one of the most important distribution channels for fine wine, accounting for an estimated 30% of European wine sales. They are also indispensable when it comes to building brands and shaping perceptions.
It’s therefore critical to understand the current trends, opportunities and challenges of this channel.
The Areni Global–Vins d’Exception Commission is about to launch a study that aims to analyse and identify the barriers currently limiting fine wine sales, while exploring new growth opportunities and examining how producers, distributors, and restaurants can collaborate.
If you work with the European on-trade (as a producer or importer/distributor) or if you are a sommelier/on-trade wine buyer, please take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire below.
Fine Wine Sales in Restaurants Survey
The results of this exploratory study will be presented at the LVMH House in London on November 25th at 6PM UK.
