For the vineyard of Santorini thousands of pages and reviews have been written worldwide. We summarize them as follows:

The vineyard of Santorini makes us proud,  a unique terroir, the only one in Greece that has not experienced phylloxera and remained untouched. The wines of Santorini cannot be compared to any other wine in Greece or Europe because they are unique. And this uniqueness is defined by the volcanic soil and the climate that leads to low yields. Vines in Santorini trained into the traditional basket shape.
The most important white variety of the island is Assyrtiko and to a lesser extent, Aidani and Athiri.

Of the red varieties, we can find Mandilaria.
The tourist value of Santorini is known to all. and the wineries of the island offer exciting moments to the winelover. Santorini is the most remarkable and amazing place in the world!

The wines Assyrtiko and Nykteri have won numerous awards in international competitions. Recently at the Concours Mondial des Feminalise 2022 competition held in Paris, Assyrtiko and Nychteri were awarded gold medals. Allwinestories was the communication sponsor of the competition.

Another participation of Venetsanos Winery is coming in a few days, in the Le Mondial des Vins Blancs Strasbourg 2022 Edition competition, which is the only competition in the world for white and recently for orange wines under the auspices of the OIV and VINOFED.

Let's get to know the award-winning wines of the winery.
