The producers of the Peloponnesian Vineyard return to Athens for the Peloponnese Wine Festival 2025, where they will meet professionals and wine enthusiasts on Monday, January 20th, from 12:00 to 21:00, at the Athenaeum Intercontinental Hotel. This year’s event will welcome 48 wineries in the Aphrodite Hall, showcasing an ultra-premium selection of the finest wines from the Peloponnese.
As always, the focus of the event is on the numerous indigenous grape varieties of the Peloponnesian vineyard and the diverse wine-producing regions that form an exceptionally rich and vibrant wine scene. In late January, producers unveil fresh and energetic new vintages alongside carefully aged wines that have been maturing in their cellars, offering depth and complexity to wine lovers.
The festival is a must-attend for any wine enthusiast, as it goes beyond the ordinary: featuring experimental bottlings, innovative winemaking techniques, low-intervention wines, and creations that reflect the imagination and passion of the producers. The Peloponnese, home to Greece’s largest vineyard, with its diverse terroirs – ranging from mountainous landscapes to coastal vineyards – provides the perfect setting to showcase the potential of Greek wine and the unique elements that set it apart on a global level. This is truly the ultimate event for wine lovers, whether professionals or enthusiasts.
