The exhibition "Greek Distillate" (Elliniko Apostagma) is the only tasting event dedicated exclusively to Greek spirits such as ouzo, tsipouro, tsikoudia, brandy and grape spirits, all branded and bottled. It is organized this year for the 8th time, on 19 January 2025 at the Lighthouse of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre, with opening hours 11:30 - 15:30 & 16:00 - 20:00.

More than 30 distilleries  from different parts of the country with about 150 products will participate in the exhibition. Along with the well-known and established drinks, there will be rare aged tsipouros, premium double and triple distilled ouzo, hard-to-find tsipouros from small producers, fruit spirits and liqueurs made from herbs and other aromatic substances of the Greek countryside that capture their unique fragrances in the bottle.

"Greek Distillate" is only for Greek distilleries with branded, standardized, high quality products, those that are the future of the industry. In the presence of their creators, the best Greek spirits are exhibited for tasting , unfolding their value and uniqueness. With such weapons, these drinks are now an inspiration for many bartenders and mixologists in Greece and abroad, either for the creation of original and imaginative cocktails or even as ingredients of globally known and established such drinks, such as spicy Negroni with tsipouro instead of gin and aromatic Bloody Mary with ouzo instead of vodka.

Special parallel Masterclass events will accompany the exhibition:

"Window to the World: Baijiu Masterclass", where China's national spirit, Baijiu, is presented for the first time in our country in a tasting seminar with 7 award-winning labels explained by one of the world's leading experts, Derek Sandhaus. The comparative tasting "Grappa & Tsipouro: brothers or cousins?", puts similarities and differences between the two iconic spirits of Italy and Greece under the microscope with the oenologist Maria Zervos and the taster Luca Bonfiglioli. Finally, highlighting the new trend in ouzo, the event "Premium Ouzo: What It Is and How It's Drunk" will showcase Greece's top ouzo accompanied by dishes from Fanis' Karamanlidika. More information about these events and their costs are included on the exhibition website.
