Today continuing our presentation of Greek wineries we meet a Greek -Italian love affair. Nomades!

The names behind the affair are: Georgia Dimitriou & Onofrio Viscione.

Who are you?

We are a couple of winemakers, partners in life and in business.
We had a long experience in various prestigious winemaking regions around the world including Pomerol, Margaux, Napa Valley, Yarra Valley, Malborough and Tuscany.
We hold an M.Sc. in Viticulture, Winemaking, & Economy from SupAgro de Montpellier and an M.Sc. in Vineyard and Winery Management from ENITA de Bordeaux.
We’ve now decided to get back to our Greek - Italian origins.
We revere innovation, but we respectfully admire our origins and traditions.
WINE is what we love the most, so we decided to vinify grapes in all the different places that are parts of us.

NOMADES was born.

The story

“MOVEMENT" as a state of being. We may have no roots, but indigenous and ungrafted vines fascinate us. We may live for changes, but we are attracted by the vine's perpetual life cycle.
“In the last 13 years we've made many wines, friends, and turned houses into homes around the world.”

NOMADES brand
A brand capable of describing a vast and non-specific imaginary of a territory's narrative, but rather one that originates from the sharing of experiences across multiple territories.
The Nomades logo uses a modern, geometric font capable of addressing the contemporary reality that the brand represents.
The 'o', elevated from the baseline, symbolizes escape and breaking free from conventions while remaining solemn and institutional.

the goal
To create delicious premium wines from indigenous varieties.

CHALLENGES & STRENGTHS
The huge potential of these indigenous varieties.
The lesser-known wine regions we choose to enhance.
The vast richness, the quality, and the future of these wine regions.
