Concours des Bourgondia rewards the best wines of Burgundy Franche-Comté and Beaujolais by awarding them, each year, the Burgondia gold or silver distinctions

The Concours des Burgondia  is held annually on March in Beaune, bringing together an international jury of wine experts from around the world. The tasting panel includes oenologists, sommeliers, restaurateurs, wine merchants, journalists, importers and experienced wine professionals, ensuring a rigorous and independent evaluation process.

During the competition, a wide selection of Burgundy and Beaujolais wines is blind-tasted. At the end of the tastings, the best wines receive Burgondia Gold, Silver or Bronze medals, recognizing excellence in quality, typicity and expression of terroir. Award-winning producers are entitled to display the Burgondia medals on their bottles, providing consumers and professionals with a reliable guarantee of quality.

This competition is open to all wines from Burgundy Franche-Comté and Beaujolais (still wines, sparkling wines). Each product must comply with the regulations in force. The competition is open to all wines with a geographical indication, PDO and PGI.
