Let's meet our guest:
Darrel Joseph, based in Vienna, Austria, is an international wine writer, judge and presenter specialising in the wines and wine regions of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe as well as the Caucasus countries. Since 1995, he has been writing for numerous publications including Decanter and Harpers Wine & Spirit in Great Britain and Meininger’s Wine Business International in Germany. In addition to his writing, Darrel participates as a judge in international wine competitions in Europe and Asia, including the renowned Decanter World Wine Awards in London. He is also a member of the tasting jury for the Gault & Millau wine guide in Austria. Darrel also lectures for the International Wine Business programme at the IMC/University of Applied Sciences in Krems, Austria, and he conducts master classes and wine tastings at wine fairs and events in Europe and Asia and for wine clubs, wine schools, businesses and private clients throughout Europe. He is a graduate of Boston University in the United States, and a member of the Circle of Wine Writers in Great Britain.
