Welcome to the Symposium “Act for Change”, a series of talks focusing on wine and spirits in 2030, moderated by experts from across the globe. After the fi rst act in 2019, we decided to push the boundaries once again this year by taking an approach that looks even further ahead and embraces the entire value chain. From consumption through distribution and production, we need to prepare for 2030 today. Through this event, Vinexposium becomes the industry’s voice, placing issues that directly involve the future of its stakeholders at the heart of the debates.
Over two days, the Symposium will give the fl oor to professionals who will decipher the major developments to come and their impact on the production and distribution of wines by 2030. The Symposium will tackle all the pivotal changes that will continue to mark the coming years – changing consumer patterns, climate change, geopolitical tensions and their consequences for the industry, or the role of innovation in transforming vineyard and winery practices and distribution of wines and spirits in tomorrow’s world. Topics such as digitalisation and the future of fi ne wines will also be on the agenda, so that we can better decipher what to expect and how to prepare for it.
