On Saturday 2 December, at 12.00 noon, the Map of Flavours opens its doors. The most important wine event in Northern Greece and an established annual rendezvous of the wine industry in Thessaloniki, is hosted at the Ioannis Vellidis Conference Centre at Helexpo.
And this year, the Map of Flavours celebrates its 20th anniversary!
The Map of Flavours will last for a weekend, with opening hours from 12:00-20:00, where wine producers, distillers, wine importers, wine professionals, catering, tourism and thousands of wine lovers taste, discuss, exchange views and experiences in an elegant, pleasant, civilized environment.
Who will you meet on the Map of Flavours 2023?
In its 20th edition, the Map of Flavours is bigger and stronger than ever before. This year, the country's well-known wineries are participating, as well as many newer, even newcomers, representing all the wine regions of the country. More than 160 winemakers and distillers, as well as wine importers representing wineries from all major wine-growing countries. (See the list of participants)
What will you taste?
More than 1,000 labels, an amazingly wide range of wines, starting with the fresh 2023 vintage, new labels and packaging, several of which will debut at the event, and extending to top Greek favourites and exciting international selections. The Map of Flavours is the place to sample the latest wine trends.
What will you be attending at the side events?
Every year, the Map of Flavours is accompanied by a rich programme of side events. Vertical tastings, presentations & scientific contributions, delectable culinary demonstrations by top chefs and pastry chefs of Thessaloniki await you.

Please note: The Wine School seminars give you the opportunity to learn the basic steps of wine tasting and get to know the wine regions of Greece before you start your explorations.
The organization of the seminars in English also gives foreign visitors the opportunity to have a truly "Discover Greek Wines" experience.
